The popularity of Iceland as a holiday destination has grown significantly in the last few years as visitors discover what this incredible country has to offer - something we've known for over three decades. This popularity however, does mean that some areas, especially in the height of the summer, have become busier. Therefore we wanted to find a way to ensure that our clients can experience the unspoilt nature for which Iceland is celebrated, without the crowds.
For this reason we have introduced a new flight route from the UK to the east, opening up a lesser-visited side of the island. Operating in summer during the long hours of daylight which culminates in the midnight sun, you'll be able to maximise your time exploring. Our collection of itineraries showcase the little-known highlights of the East Fjords as well as featuring exciting combinations with Lake Myvatn, the South coast and the west.
In the East Fjords drive spectacular coastal roads, hike some of Europe's finest trails, and soak up the slow pace of life. Head north to discover intriguing volcanic curiosities from bubbling mud pools to lava formations and visit the whale watching hotspot of Husavik. Journey south to witness the picturesque beauty of the glacial lagoon, Jokulsarlon and onwards along the waterfall route of the south shore.
