If you're looking for a short break with a difference then Iceland has so much to offer, whether it's to experience the country for the first time or simply as a quick reminder of its many charms.
Visit the world’s most northerly capital Reykjavik - a compact city full of life at any time of year!
Reykjavik is also close to the Blue Lagoon and an abundance of natural wonders, so you can soak up the city atmosphere but also take in the fascinating places close by, such as the Snaefellsnes Peninsula and the stunning south west region.
Visit between October and April and you have a good chance of seeing the northern lights if the conditions are right. Hire a car and escape the city to get away from the light pollution for best viewings:
There's more to Iceland than Reykjavik, and the North areas and east fjords offer incredible natural beauty, small villages and whale watching opportunities. And with our new direct flight from London to East Iceland, it's now even easier to explore these regions:
A big thank you for all your help in organising our wonderful break to Iceland... a wonderful place and wonderful people and I hope one day to go back.
