Type: Unique

Grade: Superior

Introduction

Discover your own isolated slice of Kiwi paradise. By day revel in the birdsong and by night explore the stars of the southern sky from the comfort of your luxury bed.

PurePods showcases an exclusive and unique concept of accommodation, offering an almost all-glass unit so you can see everything and completely immerse yourself in the surrounding natural landscape.

Situated at the end of a beautiful 600m nature walk, PurePod Little River is nestled into regenerating bush high above the town of Little River on Banks Peninsula. The PurePod commands 360 degree views of the valley, Lake Forsyth and the Pacific Ocean. Pull back the sliding doors on all three sides of your unit and indulge in the isolation.

At night you'll sleep with the Southern Cross and millions of other stars and by day you'll be surrounded by dramatic natural landscapes with you own slice of pure New Zealand native bush literally at the back door. Relax and let nature refuel your soul.

Leave the world behind, enjoy the privacy and isolation. There are no neighbours, no television or internet and mobile signal is patchy.

While PurePods is designed to allow a few blissful days "off the grid" there are some unique activities just nearby if you want to wander. Why not visit the Manaia Bird Sanctuary or follow the Little River Rail Trail, an easy to navigate bike trail that follows an old railway track out past Lake Forsyth and over the birdlife paradise of Lake Ellesmere Te Waihora.
