Take in one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World and a UNESCO World Heritage Site on this three-day independent itinerary. Victoria Falls is one of Africa's greatest geographical features and at 1700 metres wide and over 100 metres in height, it is the largest single waterfall in the world.
- Guided tour of Victoria Falls, one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World
- Relax on a sunset cruise on the Zambezi River
- Take a ‘Flight of Angels’ helicopter ride for a birds eye view of the majestic falls (optional)
When legendary explorer David Livingstone saw the falls for the first time in 1855, he wrote "scenes so lovely must have been gazed upon by angels in their flight". Visitors cannot fail to be inspired and amazed by the sheer size, power and beauty of the thundering curtain of water, which is roughly twice the height of Niagara Falls.
Victoria Falls straddles both Zimbabwe and Zambia, with Zimbabwe boasting three quarters of the water and the best views. You will stay in the iconic town of Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe, set on the southern bank of the Zambezi River.

When to go
The best time to visit Victoria Falls is January-February and June-August. During these months there is lots of water but not too much spray. The falls are at their most powerful and impressive between March and May, during this time the spray can rise up to 500 metres. The lowest water levels occur between September and December. The Zambian side can dry up completely but Zimbabwe has water flow year round.
